Why I built this website

When I started in IT, most guides I found either skipped steps or assumed I already knew the basics. I'd follow a tutorial, hit a screen it never mentioned, and get stuck.

So I made the site I wish I'd had: tutorials written in plain English, click by click, with nothing skipped. Every guide explains what each option means, what happens if you pick it, and how to check it actually worked.

It's also how I learn. Writing a tutorial forces me to really understand something, not just get it working once. If I can explain it simply, I know I've got it.

My goal: a new tutorial every day

Every day I try to publish something useful: a tutorial, a lab write-up, or a short explainer on what's changed in IT. The topics come straight from real work:

• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Exchange
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
• Cybersecurity and staying safe from AI-powered scams
• UniFi networking, VLANs and Wi-Fi
• Acronis backup and recovery
• AI tools and how to use them safely at work

Every morning there's also a short daily brief on the news that matters to IT teams, so you can catch up before your first coffee.

What you can expect

• Plain English. No jargon without an explanation.
• Every step. Exact menus, buttons and what you should see.
• Tested. Built and checked in my own lab first.
• Safe. Anything risky is clearly marked before you do it.

A full Windows home lab on VMware Workstation: a Windows Server 2025 domain controller with DNS and DHCP, Windows 11 test PCs, and next, Group Policy, a second DC, Acronis backups, UniFi networking and hybrid identity with Microsoft 365.
